How does renting work?Click on our link to the rental page. We recommend confirming availability before requesting to book. Once you request to book, the owner has 12 hours to approve your request. Most of our owners are very responsive, but if they decline, or don't respond, we refund the full amount we've placed on hold from your card. The exact location of bike is revealed upon approval, along with contact info and other important info via email. Ride day! Meet the owner, show your license (or foreign license if non-US), document preexisting damage on the bike using our check-in process, get the keys and get going! Please be safe and wear a helmet. Remember, only YOU can drive the Vanderhall. Do not lend it to anyone else. Upon return, document the bike again for damage, using our check-out process.

What are the requirements to rent using Riders Share? We are very strict about who can rent to keep the platform as safe as possible. To be able to rent, the renter must: Be 25 or older. Validate their phone number and email address. Check out with a valid credit or debit card. Possess a valid driver’s license. We do not accept temporary licenses unless you have a prior license, or proof of past riding history. Allow us to potentially run a background check. We look at a total of 100 different data points to vet riders. Our system improves over time and now the vast majority of riders that meet the above requirements are allowed to rent. We reserve the right to decline bookings our system deems too risky.
